Simon, her child, was one year old when the village elders approached us and asked for help for Lilian. Her parents had passed away and as the eldest of the family, she was responsible for her siblings alone at only 25 years old. Since raising a child on her own and having no family support, she was only able to survive with the help of her neighbors. Africa Amini Alama gave her food, built her a house and a stove.

Her son will be able to go to our Worseg Vision when he is old enough. Her and her son's survival is assured!
