COVID 19?

Tanzania is one of the few African countries where no Covid-19 test has to be presented upon entry.

We cordially invite you to explore the country, its nature, culture and our projects in a customized way organized by us. Since very few tourists travel and only a few safari vehicles are in operation, we can offer you an almost "exclusive" wildlife viewing experience. Far away from big cities and surrounded by nature, this is a very safe way to travel, and the lodges we recommend, including our accommodation, have implemented sanitary procedures to ensure a safe experience for our guests during their stay.

At the beginning of May we had the peak of Covid-19 infections. Since then the number of cases have decreased. Since we have close contact with our staff and have good connections to private and state hospitals, we concluded that Covid-19 has not caused any major health problems in the country. We believe that there is no safer way to spend your vacation than going on an individual safari far away from densely populated areas.

Our accommodations - Hillside Retreat and the Original Maasai Lodge - reopened on May 20th and since then we have welcomed international guests with all the necessary security measures. As tourism has not yet fully taken off during these times, we would like to offer you the unique opportunity to visit us, your godchild and Tanzania in an exclusive, private and also flexible setting to make your traveling as easy as possible!
