Menstrual cups for our older girls from Simba Vision...

"It is difficult for us to go to school during our menstruation"... thanks to a generous donation from UNA FOR WOMAN we were able to provide these cups for the older Maasai girls.

It took patience to explain how to use them and at the same time it was an educational lesson. It is wonderful to see how open our girls are and to see how much they trust us. For they asked the most intimate questions and also tried out the cups. Giggling a lot about the delicate topics, whose taboo I wanted to lift by talking about them casually. There was great joy about the newly won freedom. The girls will try them out and give me feedback.

Now I will distribute the remaining menstrual cups at our Pamoja secondary school.

If they are well accepted, we will urgently need more!!!!
