Go-ahead for the long awaited Montessori classroom.

Yesterday was a meeting with all participants of the project.

Not only a classroom, but an entire Montessori building is being built here with the help of the Artur-Waser Foundation.

After several months of construction our youngest children will get their own facilities!

Papaa, our longterm site manager, has the opportunity to learn a completely new construction method with the help of this team of experts. A project which enables knowledge transfer on all levels. How easy it would have been for the team of architects to commission experienced construction companies from Dar es Salaam: but they chose the perhaps more difficult but more rewarding way to pass on their knowledge to a local construction management. Totally according to the spirit of AAA.

Good news for our volunteers...

There will be special helpers units for the Montessori classes...to be able to actively help here from 2022 on and look after our children in the most remote Maasailand.
