EMERGENCY AID FOR PEOPLE SEEKING MEDICAL HELP.

Every day, Maasai and Meru patients come to our Preventive Medical Clinic. Very often they are children and women who do not have the financial means to go to a distant hospital. They all hope to receive good treatment from us.

With our donated medicines and our now well-equipped units, we try to provide effective help where people need it. However, sometimes our hands are tied and we have to refer patients to another hospital. Although this is possible with our transport vehicles, treatment in other hospitals is very often not affordable for our patients. Acutely necessary cataract, appendectomy or breast operations or the treatment of bone fractures cost several months' salary and very often cannot be financed. Further diagnostic examinations also cost money and although patients are referred to a specialist center, they cannot afford the examination.

We are reaching the limits of the help we offer locally, which can only be overcome with financial support. With our already very well-developed network, we can plan and organize necessary operations and other procedures very quickly, but only if we can then pay for them for the patient. We collect for precisely these emergencies where rapid action is required. Every donation is used where people need it most urgently for their recovery.
