13. purpose limitation and legal basis of the data processing of your data known to us
13.1 We process the following categories of data from you:
13.2 We use these data for the preparation and execution of fundraising campaigns for the fulfilment of the statutory / statutory organisational purposes - by post, telephone call or e-mail and for fundraising administration, for birthday greetings, for the administration of donations made and for the administration of active and former members and the fulfilment of fiscal obligations.
13.3 For this purpose we store your data in an electronic database. To select target groups for one of the above actions, we use a process that groups our supporters according to the type of donation, the amount of the donation, the frequency of the donation, and the time of the last donation.
13.4 The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is, on the one hand, our legitimate interest in the fulfilment of our legal or contractual obligations and, on the other hand, your consent.
The provision of name data and bank account details is required for the donation process and due to tax regulations as well as money laundering regulations. In the event of non-delivery, donations and sponsorship services cannot be accepted.
The provision of name and birth data is also necessary due to the automated assessment of employees if a donor wishes to have his or her donations taken into account for tax purposes. In case of non-delivery, the donations cannot be considered as special expenses for tax purposes.
13.5 Description of legitimate interest:
Personal data for the purposes of fundraising, sponsorship and general postal advertising activities to achieve the objectives of the organisation will be processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the organisation. This is intended to achieve the organisational objectives set out in the Articles of Association or in the Articles of Association.
According to recital 47 DSGVO, the processing of personal data for the purpose of fundraising constitutes a legitimate interest if the processing is necessary for the fulfilment of the legitimate interest and meets the reasonable expectations of the data subject. The organisation pursues objectives in the public interest in accordance with § 4a EStG and §§ 34 ff BAO. The fulfilment of the organisational objectives recognised by the public thus represents a legitimate interest. The fulfillment of these publicly recognized organizational goals is not possible without donations and is therefore necessary.
We process personal data in particular in order to be able to carry out targeted actions to achieve the organisational objectives. In this way, the interests of donors and sponsors in particular are to be met in the best possible way and wastage is to be avoided. This should also ensure that funds raised can be used as cost-effectively as possible in the interest of all persons supporting the organisation.
13.6 For the purpose of optimising our website, certain data is collected automatically (date and time of access to the website, IP address, browser version).
14. consent and right of revocation
14.1 If your consent is necessary for the processing of your data, we will only process it after your express consent.
14.2 In principle, we do not process data of minors and are not authorised to do so. By giving your consent, you confirm that you have reached the age of 14 or that you have the consent of your legal representative.
14.3 You may revoke your consent at any time: You will find our contact details at the bottom of this page. In such a case, the data previously stored about you will be anonymised and subsequently used only for statistical purposes without any personal reference. The revocation of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of consent until revoked.
15. your rights
15.1 You have the right to obtain information about the personal data concerned at any time. If there is no legal storage obligation, you have the right to delete this data and to object to its processing for purposes of donation communication/advertising.
